Short film (duration approx. 27 min), collaboration with Thomas Martin

The project Maunula is a socially engaged film made in collaboration with two different generations, schoolchildren and senior citizens, living in the Maunula neighborhood in Helsinki, Finland. The film concentrates on questions of community, local democracy and the future of the neighbourhood from the different points of view of the participants, scripted and filmed mostly by them. One of the most important goals of the collaborative method was to enable an encounter and a dialogue between the two different generations.

The film was produced as a part of the Collaborative Media Art Residency organised by m-cult in 2016.
